Week 10 ~ Social Media Platforms

Personally, I believe that social networking can enhance the amount of connections and relationships people have with other practitioners. Furthermore, it allows people to maintain these relationships easily and sufficiently. Noam Kroll in particular uses several social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Vimeo in an effective way in order to connect with his audience.

His blog showcases several social media bars, which are located on the header, footer and right hand side of each page . Kroll hasn’t made these bars overly big, which is a clever technique to incorporate as it doesn’t scream “I WANT MORE FOLLOWERS!”. Rather Kroll has placed these bars in such a way that our eyes are automatically drawn to them in hope that we will click on these links to his social media pages.

Another thing I have no noticed about Kroll’s social media presence is that he doesn’t stick to one social media platform, he uses several. I think the key to a strong and noticeable social media presence is consistency, and Kroll definitely exemplifies this.

When it comes to a strong social media presence, Noam Kroll knows exactly what he’s doing. There is no doubt that the techniques he has implemented into his blog are working for him, so I will definitely be looking to utilise these techniques into my own blog in the  near future. Overall, Social media is a great marketing and networking tool that has numerous positive outcomes on a professional level.
